Welcome to the 2025 Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition!

We hope that all of the student-artists will take the time to view the artwork with their families, friends and teachers. It is an amazing collection of work! Thank you for sharing your artistic expressions and for being a part of the 2025 competition. This gallery displays the Top 25 first, followed by the rest of the exhibition in alphabetical order. Medium: I designed a custom set with backdrop, animal skulls, tree parts, crystals, rocks and artificial snow. My main character is a vintage antique doll that I modified so that it could easily move on my stop motion set. The base of my set is a stainless steel screen that I made so that all elements can move with magnets. The story follows a ghost-like child that discovers a rare flower among the winter night. I used my iPhone on a tripod to capture the images, exported them into photoshop to make animated sequences and finally used Adobe Premier Pro and Motion Array to add music and special effects.

Medium: This film utilizes found paper objects and materials I cut out from old magazines. I produced a collage and animated it through the stop motion process while using my iphone. I took five thousand two hundred and seventy-seven images and animated them in photoshop. After making an animated video in photoshop I exported it into Adobe Premier Pro and added music and adjusted the speed to produce this cool movie
